Andrew Hill

Andrew’s career has seen him experience the full range of a career in practice having trained with a small independent firm before spending 12 years with a large National brand prior to finding his long-term home at HSJ in 2018.

He has experience in a range of audit assignments from new start-ups to established groups and has been involved in audits ranging from the very smallest businesses through to those with turnover in excess of £400m per annum.

This experience covers a range of specialist sectors including, most notably, charities, sporting NGO’s, Travel Agencies and Tour Operators, Clubs and Societies and Service Charges.

Andrew oversees the delivery of our audit and assurance arm, HSJ Audit, alongside his day-to-day work with smaller privately owned businesses. He is actively engaged in driving the Audit and Assurance offering of our business whilst constantly seeking to innovate by developing our audit approach and making the most of new technologies.

Andrew is a registered accountant in the Civil Aviation Authority scheme as well as holding an ICAEW Diploma in Charity Accounting (DChA).

Away from the office, Andrew is Treasurer of Prostate Cymru and was previously on the Board of a Charity organising large scale fundraising events. Coupled with his role at HSJ, this provides him with a wealth of experience in organisation management and wider governance.
